Trailer Queens - Part 10

Getting ready to leave Hotel Maria Benita.

We had a late breakfast at Gorditas la Chiripa in El Baluarte.

This is where the locals get their tacos, burritos and tortas.  The menu wasn't specifically vegeterain.

The owners made a real effort to accomodate our needs.

But despite all their efforts, we still had to drink Nescafe...  Despite that, this was a very good breakfast.

Now this is a real road hazard.  Horses spook very easily.

The warning signs before a military inspection point include these cardboard figures complete with same flags the soldiers use.

This place has seen much better days.

Tony in Durango traffic

Durango traffic was enough to drive Brian crazy...

Finally out of the city and headed west to the sierras.

Brian and Tony enjoying some curves.

The road to El Salto.

While we were waiting for Tony to catch up from his picture stop, we made new friends.

The beginning of El Espinazo del Diablo.

Can you see the road in the distance?

Obligatory picture stop.

Espinazo del Diablo.

Brian taking a break.

V-Stroms invade El Espinazo - We met Ted and Tamara on the road.
